Technical Expertise
Client Liason
Significant customer facing retail experience and work in both a freelance and proffesional
capacity provide an excellent ability to assess and attain user requirements. This
is supplemented by a wide knowledge of the subject in general and an ability to
explain things simply.
System Design and Collaboration
Very experienced in designing systems from scratch and planning enhancments for
existing ones. Familiar and comfortable in an Agile environment and using tools
such as SVN and Scrumworks.
Front End
Very good understanding of (X)HTML and web 3.0 concepts. Ability to realise these
using well documented object oriented Javascript, jQuery, w3c compliant (X)HTML,
CSS, JSON and AJAX webservices.
Back End
A self taught programmer since age 16. Confident in C#.Net, VB.Net and LINQ. Familiar
and able with advanced OOP concepts such as Interfaces, Abstraction and Polymorphism.
Database
Very familiar with the SQL syntax and competant with both MSSQL server environments
and MySQL databases.

For best MSc Dissertation in the Department of Information Systems & Computing.
The project investigated the link between percieved and proven privacy risks in
social networking sites and included the technical delivery of an online survey
which captured the results of over 150 particpants (no longer online).

Personal Profile
Overview
Recent graduate with a years work experiance in a medium sized business to business
software and media firm. Upper second Bachelors degree in computer science (with
A* dissertation) and a Masters with Merit in Information Systems Management. Very
experienced in client liasing and requirements gathering, project management, (X)HTML,
CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, MySQL and particularly C#.Net, VB.Net, LINQ and MsSQL.
Hoping to enter a position that builds on my existing interest in web based technologies
in or around West London. Excellent communication skills (Native British English
speaker), teamworking and leadership and a proven track record in delivering practical
solutions to real world problems.
Personal Interests
I enjoy playing sports, the gym, movies and developing web based games like roulette,
slots and craps (availble on request). I also like making music using Fruity Loops
8 XXL and sometimes teach family and friends of family basic IT skills. I've also
helped strengthen a couple of good friends (X)HTML and programming ability. I genuinely
enjoy web-based development work and that's a large part of what makes me good at
it.
